A Conference on Artificial Intelligence Was Organized at Our Vocational School by Lecturer Hüseyin Turgut

Our college once again hosted an intriguing conference. On February 18, 2026, Lecturer Hüseyin TURGUT came together with all students and academics interested in the field with his speech titled "The Past, Present, and Future of Artificial Intelligence." At the event, Lecturer Hüseyin TURGUT, a faculty member of MAKÜ Technical Sciences Vocational School Computer Technologies Department, gave a comprehensive presentation on artificial intelligence. The conference began with the definition of artificial intelligence and focused on applications in sectors such as healthcare, finance, and autonomous systems. It was explained in detail how artificial intelligence could be more efficient in these sectors and contribute to achieving effective results. The role of artificial intelligence in the early diagnosis of diseases in the healthcare sector and in risk management in the finance sector was particularly emphasized.
In the event, which took place with intense participation, the benefits of technologies used today and future scenarios were discussed. Mutual exchange of views and Q&A sessions with the audience made the conference even more impressive. The speaker, who did not limit artificial intelligence technology to just chatbot systems, also emphasized the importance of data in our lives. He stated that data analysis and data processing play a critical role in the success of artificial intelligence applications. Additionally, there was a consensus that future developments in artificial intelligence could lead to positive changes in many areas of society.
During the conference, ideas were exchanged about the potential future applications of artificial intelligence. The audience shared their thoughts on how artificial intelligence could make their daily lives easier and more efficient. The advantages offered by artificial intelligence, especially in topics such as autonomous vehicles and smart home systems, were discussed.
